The lock-in tax
Subscription builders ship sections as app blocks. The merchant pays forever. The day they cancel, the section vanishes from their store. The agency gets the call.
Native Liquid. Zero lock-in. Callable from Claude.
A developer-first Shopify section library. Premium .liquid sections you can copy-paste, pull from the CLI, or summon from your AI workflow. No app block. No subscription. No clawback when the merchant cancels.
The Shopify section market has been broken into two bad halves for years. We're building a third path — and it lives in your terminal.
Subscription builders ship sections as app blocks. The merchant pays forever. The day they cancel, the section vanishes from their store. The agency gets the call.
Mass marketplaces sell 30-section bundles where four are usable. The other 26 land in the trash. You pay once and still lose the afternoon.
Every modern Shopify dev runs Claude Code or Cursor. No section library is callable from either. The most-used tool in the workflow has nothing to talk to.
You add a hero. You add a UGC slider. You add a comparison table. The merchant is now paying $57/mo for three sections that should have been theirs the day they bought them.
Pick the path that matches how you build. Every section ships the same way — premium, native, owned.
Open the section page, copy the .liquid block, paste it into your theme editor. Save. Done. No CLI, no app, no install screen.
Pull your client theme, drop the section in via our CLI helper, push it back up. Version-controlled, reviewable, ready for the agency workflow.
Open Claude Code (or any MCP client), call the section by name, paste the result into your theme. The library is registered. The catalog is queryable. The workflow is the same one you already use.
Category labels only. No naming names. The differences hold either way.

Yes — every section is built for Shopify OS 2.0 and tested against Dawn out of the box. Custom themes built on OS 2.0 work. Horizon support is on the roadmap for Phase 2; we'll ship the migration in the same package.
MCP is the Model Context Protocol — an open standard for connecting AI tools to external libraries. Any MCP-compatible client works: Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, Continue, Cline, Windsurf, and others as the ecosystem grows. The Liquid Lab is registered once — your editor of choice picks it up. You do not need MCP to use the library; it's one of three paths. Pick yours.
Nothing. There's nothing to cancel. The code is yours the moment you buy it. No app block on the merchant's store, no subscription on yours, no clawback when the relationship ends.
Yes. The agency license covers unlimited client stores under one license. Build for as many clients as you have. We don't track stores or seats beyond the developer count on the license.
Pre-launch waitlist. The first 100 developers get the Agency license at $299, locked.
We'll email when the first 12 sections drop. In the meantime — paste this into Claude Code:
